Mundo Imperial Expo Acapulco, Mexico
Mundo Imperial Casa Acapulco, Mexico
The design concept for the Mundo Imperial project was based on the trade routes between Europe and Asia, with Acapulco being the port of call between the two. Trade winds, current ship features, and wave elements are represented throughout the project. The Performing Arts Center is supported by a 750,000 sf Exposition facility, an 800 room hotel and a destination spa. Sculptural impressions of ships, sails, and wake patterns define the private/group registration and checkout lobby. The “Dubloon Bar” offers a light and airy stage for the adjacent private exterior hotel garden backdrop.
Mundo Imperial Casa Carnivore Acapulco, Mexico
The “Carnivore” restaurant, lounge, and patios represent the continuous movement of the trade winds, utilizing vibrant colors and curvilinear walls and ceiling elements to portray the hotel’s theme.
Hilton Garden Inn Scottsdale North - Perimeter Center Scottsdale, Arizona
This project is in the heart of Scottsdale's business and resort area. Rather than selecting from one of Hilton's packaged designs, the public spaces were created to appeal to the upscale guest typically visiting the area.
Hilton Garden Inn Yuma - Pivot Point Yuma, Arizona
Set on Yuma's historic Pivot Point site bordering the Colorado River banks, this project is based on the history of Yuma. The architecture and furnishings speak to the craftsman style of the era. Historic photos are used as artwork which are grouped through both the Hotel and Conference Center into different periods of events in Yuma's past.
Hotel Lobby
Scottsdale Club Villas Scottsdale, Arizona
Located in the heart of Scottsdale and tucked between a tennis club and an 18 hole golf course, this property was developed for the long term, or ‘fractional ownership’. Individual units consist of full kitchen, dining and living room with a master bedroom and one lock off unit.
Royal Palms Resort Phoenix, Arizona
Old estancias in Spain were the theme of this renovated boutique hotel. Refurbishing existing executive casitas into individually themed suites was accomplished, with this unit representing the rich, aristocratic society of Andelucia and the second unit exhibiting the colorful countryside of Montelucia.
Jomax Hotel Phoenix, Arizona
Located in the middle of a desert setting on the northern borders of Phoenix, this resort property has all the trappings of a destination hotel, using environmentally sound design practices in every facet of the project. Facilities on the site include a 250 room hotel and conference center, 4-star restaurant, coffee / ice cream shop, pool with water features, full service spa and condo units.
Briarwood Country Club Sun City West, Arizona
Enticing a member owned club to move forward with renovations was the challenge of the Briarwood Management. Designing a new dining room that added over $100,000 to club income and creating conceptuals for other areas in the club helped convince the membership value and need for the extensive remodel.
Tomaso's Restaurant Phoenix, Arizona
The remodel of this long standing neighborhood restaurant required a Northern Italian feeling with light and airy spaces, providing simple and ample backgrounds for the restaurateur's art collection.
Pinetop Country Club Pinetop, Arizona
A limited Waiting Area for the Main Dining Room with no barrier to filter the noise were prime concerns. Flushing out the ceiling to add recessed lighting, and segmenting the Bar into two areas with lounge seating around the fireplace, achieved the results needed to upgrade and define the spaces.
Nautical Inn, Captain's Table Lake Havasu, Arizona
One of the oldest resorts in Havasu needed updating for the hip generation of racing regatta guests. Extending the upper deck to accommodate outdoor dining, adding enticement to the Lobby, Bar and Dining areas brought the restaurant up to a speed matched by racing enthusiasts.
DaVinci Phoenix, Arizona
Nestled in the foothills of South Mountain, this project consisted of groupings of four casitas with interior courtyards and the ambiance of a small village - each casita exhibiting its own personality both inside and out.
